  Don’t bother if you don’t have a state ID! Most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. My husband is originally from Bethel, grew up down the road from this store and we’re back in town from Colorado for the Holidays. They had the audacity to try to deny us because of his out of state ID! Drove down the road and used his ID perfectly fine at another store. They demanded to see another form of ID my husband had his military ID on him, but it has his social on the back. Fat chance we were handing that over. If you aren’t going to accept out of state ID’s there should be a sign or a “we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone” sign posted in plain sight, or maybe brief your cashiers better on state laws and regulations.

  One of the best liquor selections in Fairfield County, and a very helpful staff. And unlike some of the new big-box mega-wine stores opening up in the area, these guys don't steer you to their thinly veiled house-brands, and instead direct you to good value purchases. Doesn't hurt to be on their mailing list either - I've been able to pick up some whiskies at an amazing discount (weekly specials) to normal price.
